STORY
Here’s the revised version of the text you requested:
After Team 7 successfully finds Tora, the lost cat of the Fire Daimyō's wife, they return it back to her. With their mission completed, the Third Hokage informs them of the available D-rank missions, such as babysitting the chief counselor's three-year-old. Naruto expresses that he wants to go on a real mission that's exciting and challenging. Iruka lectures him, stating that like every beginner genin with no experience, he must start with simpler missions to develop his skills. The Third explains that higher-ranked missions come with more difficulty and risk. However, Naruto insists that he is a ninja now and wants to be treated accordingly. Amused, the Third decides to give the team a C-rank mission to escort Tazuna, a master bridge builder, to the Land of Waves. When Tazuna meets the team, he is surprised that kids are going to guard him but accepts it.
As they travel to the Land of Waves, two chūnin-level Kiri-nin emerge from a puddle and bind Kakashi with shuriken-laced chains, seemingly tearing him apart. With Kakashi "defeated," the duo targets Naruto, who freezes. Sasuke intervenes and saves Naruto, and Sakura steps in to defend Tazuna. Before the duo can attack further, Kakashi reappears and effortlessly defeats them. Naruto sustains a small scratch from one of their poisoned Metal Gauntlets. It is revealed that Kakashi used the Body Replacement Technique to avoid the initial attack, suspecting an ambush due to the unnatural puddle on a clear day. Kakashi praises Sasuke and Sakura for their bravery but expresses disappointment in Naruto's reaction. Tazuna questions Kakashi's delay in helping, and Kakashi explains that he needed to confirm the duo's target, which was Tazuna. He adds that if Tazuna had revealed this earlier, the mission would have been a higher rank, and a more experienced team would have been assigned. Sakura suggests they quit the mission due to the increased danger and Naruto's injury. However, Naruto removes the poison from his hand with a kunai and vows never to run from any mission, threat, or enemy, and not to lose to Sasuke. Kakashi bandages Naruto's wound, noting that it had already begun healing due to the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox.
Meanwhile, Gatō, who hired the Demon Brothers to kill Tazuna, complains to Zabuza, their boss. Zabuza silences him by raising his Kubikiribōchō and declares that he will handle the situation himself. Gatō informs him that a high-level ninja is accompanying Tazuna, but Zabuza remains unfazed, calling himself the "Demon of the Hidden Mist."
